NEW for 2008 Mono Classic 2000

2008 sees the launch of a new class championship for Mono Classic 2000 cars. This allows older Mono 2000 spec cars to compete in a separate class and should bring new impetus for those with Formula Vauxhall, Formula Renault, pre 1993 F3, Formula 2000 / Forward, and modified FF2000 cars that have been struggling to compete with the later Dallara F3 and American spec FF2000 cars.

To be eligible for Mono Classic 2000, cars must be:
" Pre 1999 non F3 derived cars running to Mono 2000 specification.
" Pre 1993 F3 derived cars running to Mono 2000 specification OR running with an 'in period' F3 engine with up to 25mm dia. air box restrictor.

All cars will run to Mono 2000 regulations for weight, ride height and dimensions. That means 560 Kgs. Minimum weight including driver and 40mm ride height as per MSA regulations.
